ZANNI is dedicated to creating high-quality, Ultra-HD video promotional and documentary videos of performances and live events. Our goal is to capture the ephemeral in a way that will serve you best. Jon Burklund, Founder & Lead Videographer

Since 2011, Jon Burklund has documented hundreds of performances and events at venues including Lincoln Center, Arena Stage, La Mama ETC, 59E59, Bushwick Starr, and The Brick.

Jon’s work has long focused on creating sustained partnerships with some of NYC’s boldest artists, especially those working towards justice for LGBTQ+, POC, and otherwise underserved populations. With this intention, Jon has developed video content with Diana Oh ({my lingerie play}), Pioneers Go East Collective (Gemini Stars), Jomama Jones (BLACK LIGHT), Dan Fishback (Cheese on Bread), and regularly collaborates with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (Dael Orlandersmith’s Until the Flood), Arena Stage, and Ma-Yi Theater Company.
